Community Organized Relief Effort

At Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE), I helped deliver a Rockefeller Foundation-funded multimedia campaign addressing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. The initiative spanned YouTube, Spotify, iHeartRadio, PBS, and social platforms, reaching millions worldwide with culturally relevant storytelling.
I managed CORE''s social media accounts, created editorial content, newsletters, grant proposals, graphic design and website development, to strengthen CORE’s communications and global engagement.

WEB DEVELOPMENT & SOCIAL MEDIA

Dream Vacation, Travel Agency
As a consultant for Walker & Hinkle Dream Vacations, I manage social media content and create visually compelling graphics that elevate their marketing campaigns. Blending strategic creativity with strong visual storytelling, I develop content that boosts engagement and drives bookings. My passion for travel informs every project, ensuring each piece captures the excitement of discovering new destinations.

VISUAL & GRAPHIC DESIGN
Being discovered through my social media presence and having my work showcased at the 2025 Georgia Aquarium Official Pride Kickoff Party was a defining career milestone. I developed a full suite of visual graphics and videos which were broadcasted across massive LED screens throughout the venue for an audience of over 4,200 people. Watching my designs illuminate such a prominent space during a celebration of inclusivity and community reaffirmed the power of creative storytelling.

EDITORIAL & BLOGGING
MR TURK launch party at Phipps Plaza, Atlanta GA 2018
Sponsored by Peach Media Inc, I hosted the Mr Turk Men’s Collection launch event at the Trina Turk store in Phipps Plaza (Atlanta), delivering a couture brand experience for 200+ guests. The evening featured a meet-and-greet with designer Jonathan Skow, curated music, premium catering, and a chic red carpet complete with professional photography. Shoppers enjoyed exclusive discounts, adding excitement to the night. The event earned media coverage and an editorial spread in Goliath Atlanta magazine, amplifying brand reach and post-event engagement. I oversaw every detail—from vendor coordination and guest flow to programming and creative direction—to showcase the collection and elevate in-store performance.
Just months after meeting Jonathan, the fashion world faced a heartbreaking loss. On October 12, 2018, Jonathan Skow passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 55. His death followed a tragic swimming accident in Hawaii that left him paralyzed. Jonathan was an inspiration reminding us how one person’s light can keep shining long after they’re no longer here.
The following is an editorial tribute I authored about Jonathan Skow, celebrated designer and visionary behind Mr Turk.”

The historic Krispy Kreme on Ponce re-opens it's doors.
By Tom Thomas (10/10/2023)
After two fires destroyed the iconic Krispy Kreme on Ponce de Leon in 2021, the newly remodeled store finally reopened—bigger, shinier, and designed to honor the original. It features a restored heritage sign, doughnut-theater views, and all the “Hot” drama Atlanta had been missing. The grand opening was October 10, 2023—just two days after my birthday. Coincidence? I think not. Crowds showed up early. People were emotional. And me? I rolled up in a full Krispy Kreme uniform costume, ready to celebrate my birthday the best way possible: with a dozen HOT, fresh doughnuts.
As I was walking out in sweet anticipation, “glazing” at my doughnuts that were glowing under the red ‘Hot’ sign, an AJC reporter approached me:
Reporter: “Would you be up for an interview?”
Me: “Absolutely!”
He asked: “So, how does it feel to be working at Krispy Kreme today for the big reopening?”
I replied: “Oh… I don’t work here."
The reporter laughed in amusement, commenting on how much they loved that I dressed up in a full Krispy Kreme uniform for the special occasion.
My Response: "Dressed up? This is just me on a Tuesday.”

Ten years in the making, my novel is almost ready to serve. Ten anniversaries, ten numbered restaurants—each one marked by an establishment matching that year’s number. Based on a true story of real restaurants, real relationships, and a real tradition, the story unfolds across Atlanta’s most sought‑after reservations, plating raw truths and serving up a generous helping of life’s lessons.
